SAIG seeks to be an investment manager for various investment vehicles across several verticals: Direct Private Equity | Private Debt | Co-Investments | Fund Investments. Within its Direct Private Equity vertical, SAIG is seeking commitments of up to US$50m to capitalize SAIG Consumer Holdings, a permanent capital vehicle that will acquire a leading company benefitting from the African consumer growth story

Team

The core SAIG team consists of the Managing Principal (“MP”) and Head of Portfolio Operations. A Senior Advisor with investment, value creation and operations experience will also advise the team and portfolio. The Managing Principal brings over 12 years (including 9 years in Africa) of private equity investment experience. The Head of Operations brings to bear 18 years of experience across operations and most recently in management consulting.
